The father of the second child of the pop singer Maria Ilieva is Alexander Mezhdurechki – son of the late former mayor of Sofia Petar Mezhdurechki. This became clear these days along with the discharge of little Sofia. The girl is the first child for 36-year-old Alec, who until recently was one of the most desired bachelors in our country. Alec comes from a noble family – his father was one of the most respected mayors of the capital, whom everyone remembers with special sentiment. Petar Mezhdurechki is the father of two other children, besides Alexander. These are his older sisters Nadezhda and Alexandra. The greatest Nadezhda is a lawyer in civil cases and is also famous in the legal community.
Alec Mezhdurechki graduated in economics in Heidelberg. He returned to Bulgaria when his father died 3 years ago after a long illness. Due to the strong connection with his mother Tanya, Alexander chose to stay in Bulgaria to develop his own business.
He met Maria with mutual friends, and more precisely – the singer Santra, with whom he has been very close for many years.
Ilieva, who at the time had a baby in her arms by her ex-boyfriend Georgi Mihailov, fell in love with Alec at first sight. The 7-year difference does not bother Mezhdurechki, much less the singer, who has always looked at men, at least 10 years younger than her.
