once as Insider-Event in Amsterdam and its orbit has established itself DGTL has advanced to become a global brand that enjoys both great fame and recognition internationally. In addition to the headquarters issue in the Dutch capital, there are now – and have been for a number of years – branches in near and far regions. But let’s put the focus here on the “mother event”, which in the usual manner in the NDSM Docklands increases. In fact on April 7, 8 and 9, 2023. You read that right. This is the Easter weekend. It is important for the organizers to mention that the April 2023 edition will be the first event worldwide to be positioned as a thriving festival in terms of sustainability. Enter the term “donut economy” online. Here you can find out more about the various backgrounds. But in any case, DGTL has always been an event that placed enormous emphasis on responsibility in the area of emissions. It’s about collective responsibility to ensure that the final emissions from visitors are reduced. DGTL’s Safe(r) project will also return, using the data from its first year of practice in 2022 to drive even more positive change in the Festival’s diversity, inclusion and community programming.
