Here comes the weather you have been waiting for

After a long period of twelve degrees and rain, we finally get a change in the summer weather.

Here you can see how the heat wave will move over Northern Europe, before it passes southern Norway on Tuesday.

– From Tuesday next week, the remnants of the heat wave from Great Britain will pass us by. Then the temperatures will finally rise.

That is what state meteorologist Rannveig Eikill says.

– It will definitely be warmer. On Monday it will be overcast with a little rain early in the day, but on Tuesday the temperature may reach the 20s.

The comfortable temperature is reported to remain both Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and can creep up to both 22 and 23 degrees.

– Of course hoping for sun

Meteorologist in Stormgeo, Ina Ynnesdal, says the amount of precipitation next week is more uncertain.

– We are pretty sure of the temperature, but how much rain it will be is harder to say. We are of course hoping for sun, and pr. now it looks like it will be a stay and some fine weather.

But first we have to put up with changing weather and low temperatures a little longer, says Eikill.

Next week, the people of Bergen will hopefully enjoy the outdoor cafes att.

Nice weather on Saturday

– It has been gray so far, but it looks like we will have stay-at-home weather and opportunities for the cloud layer to crack up a bit in the evening on Thursday.

The night before Friday will be intermittent weather, before it starts to rain during the day, Eikill says.

– The temperature will continue to be around 12-13 degrees on Friday as well. Nett as on Thursday it may be a little sun in the evening.

On Saturday, the sun will appear a little extra, and most likely there will be stays for large parts of the day, according to the meteorologist.

– There may be occasional showers on the coast, but in Bergen it will be nice. Then it is also possible that the temperature rises a little, but probably not above 15-16 degrees.

Thought it would be cool longer

On Sunday, the rain and clouds will return a bit, before we get the long-awaited change at the beginning of next week.

Ynnesdal says that it has been unusually cold until July, and that their forecasts actually showed that the cool period should last longer.

– It came a bit abruptly that it is a change, but it is of course very welcome. Most of them are probably tired of the summer weather we have had until now.

June and August often better

Ynnesdal says she has the impression that June and August are generally the best summer months.

– Many people think July is best, since it is in the middle, but to me it seems that June and August are often better. July is typically a wet month.

The meteorologist will not guarantee sun and cloudless skies next week, but hopes the people of Bergen will get the sun they have been waiting for.

– 20 degrees and rain is probably better than 13 degrees and rain, so that’s something.
