The Chiron Super Sport 300+ is ready to enter the most exclusive garages in the world. After breaking all speed records for a production car, and completing an extensive two-year test and development program, the first 8 of the expected 30 hypercars are awaiting delivery. It is not only incredibly beautiful, but it is above all the undisputed queen of all Bugattis, in terms of performance. In 2019, the new Chiron Super Sport 300+ made history, reaching 490.484 km / h and becoming the “fastest production car in the world”. Developed to break all records, with a 1,600 hp engine, W16 8.0, and Quad-turbo technology, it had managed to blow up the apparently indestructible 300 mph barrier with all its power. After two years of testing, and a further refinement of the project, the first eight of the 30 units of Chiron Super Sport 300+ planned in limited edition come out of the Atelier Bugatti in Molsheim.

Power never seen before

With a colossal power of 1,600hp, unleashed by Bugatti’s iconic 8.0-liter W16 engine, the Chiron Super Sport 300+ managed to surpass the Chiron’s power by 100hp. Taking performance to ever higher levels, the French company’s engineers have developed a new thermal management system for the hypercar’s engine and gearbox, ensuring optimal temperatures and the best cooling, even when traveling at maximum speed. Software refinements to the engine, gearbox, powertrain and turbochargers were key to the definitive development of the Chiron Super Sport 300+, contributing to the overall performance of the car.

Hypersport inside and out

From the Chiron, this evolution of the Chiron Super Sport 300+ differs from both a visual and a technical point of view. The aerodynamics are optimized in the lines, which allow it to cut through the air in total stability over 420 km / h. In particular, the “longtail” of the rear, which extends by 25 centimeters, improves airflow, making the hypersport even smoother. At the same time, the air intakes on the wheel arches and behind the front wheels further reduce any resistance. The aerodynamic bodywork of the Chiron Super Sport 300+ is made using exposed jet black carbon fiber, complemented by a Jet Orange racing stripe running through the center of the car; carbon continues to flow into the car’s bonnet and even into the windshield wiper. The extremely light and strong magnesium alloy wheels are finished in a bespoke color called “Notturne”, and other refined and almost imperceptible details, such as the Bugatti “Macaron” logo crafted in silver and black enamel, add a sense of exclusivity.

The 30 units planned in the limited edition of the Chiron Super Sport 300+ are already sold out. And the net price of the new superstar of the Bugatti plants in Molsheim is 3.5 million euros.
