AnTuTu has just published its first Top 10 most powerful smartphones of the year 2021. The democratization of the Snapdragon 888 in many models has upset the selection. The Xiaomi Mi 11 gives up its number one place in the ranking of flagships, dethroned by the Vivo IQOO 7.

Like every beginning of the month, AnTuTu publishes its Top 10 most powerful smartphones in the flagship and mid-range category. While the ranking for the month of December was dominated by Xiaomi, in particular thanks to the performance of the Xiaomi Mi 11 and the Redmi 10X 5G, the democratization of the Snapdragon 888 in several models upset the ranking.
Top 10 high-end smartphones
As said previously, the Xiaomi Mi 11 was therefore dethroned by the Vivo IQOO 7, with a total of 728,784 points on the counter. The smartphone is also equipped with the latest Qualcomm processor engraved in 5nm, namely the Snapdragon 888. We then find in third position and Huawei Mate 40 Pro +. The latest flagship of the Chinese manufacturer embeds a Soc house, the Kirin 9000, a processor also engraved in 5 nm.

The Mate 40 Pro follows just behind, also equipped with a Kirin 9000. The rest of the ranking consists of devices which are all powered by a Snapdragon 865, the former star chipset of the American founder, engraved him in 7 nm. Vivo distinguished himself in this top on several occasions, seizing first, sixth, eighth and ninth place. In addition, we note that 8 out of 10 smartphones have a configuration consisting of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space.
Top 10 most powerful midrange
We come to the TOP 10 of the most powerful midrange. Xiaomi’s Redmi 10X 5G and its Dimensity 820 processor remain in pole position, as in December 2020. Yet in fourth place last month, the Redmi 10X Pro 5G joins the Vanilla model at the top of the ranking, in second position.

The Huawei Nova 7 and Nova 7, powered by a Kirin 985, occupy third and fourth place. We still find in 9th position the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and its Soc Snapdragon 750 G. The smartphone had made a remarkable entry in the ranking in December 2020.
