UEFA appoint the referee who will lead the final match Champions League Among Paris Saint Germain against Bayern Munich. He is Daniele Orsato from Italy.
The ultimate party Champions League 2019/2020 bring together PSG vs Bayern. The match for the Big Ear trophy is scheduled to take place at the Estadio da Luz, Portugal, Monday (24/8/2020) in the morning WIB.
Looking at the PSG vs Bayern match, UEFA on Thursday (20/8) announced the name of the referee who will lead the Champions League final. Orsato who was appointed as a field judge in the match.
Launching the official UEFA website, this will be the final match Champions League first led Daniele Orsato. Previously, the 44-year-old referee had taken charge of the competition eight times this season.
Apart from the Champions League, Orsato has also led games in the Europa League this season. He was also listed as the fourth referee in the 2018/2019 Europa League final which brought Chelsea vs Arsenal.
Both PSG and Bayern are no stranger to Orsato. The two clubs have played a match which was led by the referee who was born on 23 November 1975.
Orsato is recorded to have led the Bayern duel three times The Reds appear on Champions League in recent seasons. Starting from the Bayern vs Sevilla match in the first leg of the 2018 quarter-finals, the Bayern vs Benfica duel which ended in a 5-1 victory for Thomas Mueller et al in the 2018/2019 group stage, until the Bayern vs Liverpool match at the Allianz Arena last season when the Bundesliga champions collapsed 1-3 of The Reds.
There is also PSG who have played two matches led by Orsato in the Champions League. Action The Parisians with Orsato as the referee for the first time it took place when they won 5-0 against Glasgow Celtic in the group stage in 2017.
Daniele Orsato also became a court court when PSG won 2-0 over Manchester United at Old Trafford in the last 16 of the Champions League last season. In that match, Orsato gave a red card to the Red Devils’ player, Paul Pogba.
