TRIBUN-MEDAN.com – Xiaomi has finally announced the launch date for its Redmi Note 12 Series range in global markets. Previously, this line was launched in China in November 2022 and in India last January.
Through its official Twitter account, Xiaomi announced that it would hold a launch event for the Redmi Note 12 Series titled “Live Vivid” on March 23.
“Get ready for #RedmiNote12 Series! This launch is going to be amazing!” wrote Xiaomi through an account with handle @Xiaomi.
“Join our launch event on March 23 at 23:00 (GMT+8)!” he continued.
That means, Mi Fans in Indonesia can look forward to the global launch event of the Redmi Note 12 around 22.00 WIB. Unfortunately, there is no information on where the event will be seen.
As a rule, online launch events can be watched via Xiaomi’s official YouTube channel.
In its announcement, Xiaomi also uploaded a poster. Not mentioned what models will be launched for the global market.
However, in a separate tweet, Xiaomi has put the hashtag #RedmiNote12ProPlus5G. The hashtag implies that the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus will also be introduced globally.
To note, in China, the Redmi Note 12 Series consists of four models, namely the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, as adapted from Kompas.com.
Meanwhile in India, the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition is not marketed. Chances are, the model will be marketed globally, the same as in India.
Not only that, the regular version of the Redmi Note 12 in India has different specifications from the regular version in China, for example from the camera aspect.
The Indian version of the Redmi Note 12 is equipped with three cameras on its back with a camera configuration of 48 MP + 8MP + 2 MP, while the Chinese version is only equipped with two cameras with a configuration of 48 MP and 2 MP.
