Here are the countries that send weapons to Ukraine

Twenty-two countries have pledged to provide weapons to Ukraine to help it stand up to Russian forces, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told a news conference at the Pentagon.

“Many countries will provide artillery ammunition, coast guard systems, tanks and other armored vehicles that are needed” to the Kyiv army, he added after a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense.

Countries that have announced new aid packages include Italy, Denmark, Greece, Norway and Poland, Austin told reporters. Denmark to provide harpoon and missile launcher to protect Ukraine’s coast, he added

“We fully understand what Ukraine is facing. The pledge of this war extends far beyond Europe,” the US Secretary of Defense stressed, BNR reported.

The President of the United States Chief of Staff, General Mark Millie, who also attended the briefing, said the United States was still “too far” from any reintroduction of US forces in Ukraine. He also explained that the Pentagon had managed to restore communication lines with the Russian armed forces, but declined to give further details.
