Experts from Consumer Reports determined the brands that produce the most reliable cars in 2023. Electric car manufacturers have been found to have many quality issues.
The first thing that stands out is that American car brands show an average reliability score of 39 points out of a possible 100, which is quite low. By comparison, Asian brands lead the ranking with 63 points.
The American brand Chrysler takes the last place in terms of reliability of new cars, achieving only 18 out of 100 points in the ranking of Consumer Reports. Surprisingly or not, the Mini reaches the third position.
Buick is the most reliable among American cars. The brand received an average reliability score of 55 out of 100 points. Tesla is only slightly behind Buick. The electric car manufacturer scores 48 out of 100 points.
It’s hardly surprising that Lexus is once again the leader in car reliability in 2023. The Japanese brand receives an average reliability index of 79 out of 100 points. Here are the TOP-30 brands in terms of reliability of their cars in 2023:
