Messenger includes watch and search channels using QR codes. This feature is now available to select users. The update reaches version 2.24.25.7 for Android.
WhatsApp has been working on a feature to view and track feeds using QR codes for some time. He is now testing the feature publicly, and some testers will be able to invite others to follow their channels.
The new feature allows you to share your channels with users via QR codes. To access the QR code for their channel, users must first open their channel and go to the share option, located at the top bar of the app. This is where we get the option to generate and display a QR code associated with our channel. This QR code can then be used to invite others to follow you.
You show and others just scan
Entering these codes will do just that channel sharing is more convenient and accessible than using traditional links. Instead of copying and pasting a link via message or email, just show the code on your phone screen for others to scan. This is a very nice option when contacting another user face-to-face. The scanned code redirects users to the feed with just one touch.
You can also consider saving and printing the QR code, which allows you to share channels in an even more versatile way.
And although, as usual, there are no specific dates, we can expect in the coming days that this function will be available to a wider group of people.
