Herbal Medicines to Reduce Uric Acid: Japanese Cassava, Ginger, Hibiscus, Lemon & Turmeric

2. Ginger

Ginger is one of the spices commonly found in Indonesia.

The part of ginger that is most often used is the rhizome or root for making supplements or cooking spices.

Apart from that, ginger also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which are useful in helping reduce inflammation for sufferers of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

3. Hibiscus

Many people try using hibiscus for gout treatment.

The benefits of hibiscus for reducing uric acid were studied in the Journal of Functional Foods in 2012.

4. Lemon and turmeric

5. Ginger and cucumber

Gout sufferers can reduce uric acid by preparing seven ounces of ginger, one cucumber, two stalks of celery, half a lemon, and a cup of water.

Wash these ingredients thoroughly then cut the cucumber and celery into small pieces.

Next, squeeze the lemon juice and put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If so, drink this juice in the morning after breakfast.
