Hérault: the Department maintains the speed limit at 90 km / h

The department states that “ the Mobility Orientation Law had finally introduced provisions giving authority to department presidents to raise the maximum authorized speed to 90 km/h on certain roads.“Last July, the departmental road safety commission chaired by the prefect of Hérault, issued a favorable opinion on the Department’s proposal. Of the 4,500 km of departmental roads, 350 km were affected by a 90 km/h limit, i.e. less than 8% of the road network.
