André Deljarry, president of the CCI Hérault, and Matthieu Gregory, Departmental Director of the Territories and the Sea of Hérault, a service attached to Prefecture, signed an unprecedented agreement in France between a CCI and a DDTM. “This agreement follows on from work initiated in 2018 between our two structures in the field of regional planning and commercial development,” explains André Deljarry.
“Maintain a balanced and sustainable commercial development throughout the department”
The president of the CCI points out the final objective of this partnership: “To maintain a balanced and sustainable commercial development in all the department”. Concretely, the consular chamber and the DDTM are strengthening their links to pool their respective expertise on several departmental issues related to the commercial offer.
Revitalization of trade
“CDAC – departmental commission for commercial development, economic land or even trade revitalization files”, lists Matthieu Gregory, who notably mentions the work to be carried out with the 19 Hérault towns selected as part of the State Small programs. Cities of Tomorrow (PVD) and City Heart Action, which will benefit from specific financial support to revitalize their city centers …
From advice to communities
“The objective of this partnership is therefore to provide local authorities with answers in their efforts to create businesses,” insists the departmental director. André Daljarry confirms that the CCI-DDTM relationship should make it possible to provide “real advice to communities, full support in their sustainable commercial development strategies within the meaning of the three pillars, social, economic and environmental”.
