How do you get to that and treat a woman like that? How can a man’s low primary instincts resurface in this way and impose such atrocities on the mother of his child, simply out of jealousy?
One thing is certain, it is a nightmare, a real ordeal even that this 25-year-old Montpelliérain suffered on his ex-partner, aged 30, between December 31 and January 4. Sensitive souls refrain !
He wants to know everything about his past in love
This sordid story begins Friday, December 31, early in the morning, when a Montpellier resident contacts his ex-partner by phone to ask her if she allows him to come see their 18-month-old daughter. At the end of the line, the young thirty-something is reluctant. The couple indeed separated last July, following death threats made by the father against him. But at his insistence, during this holiday season, she finally gave in. What she regrets today bitterly.
Arrived around 4 p.m. in this apartment located in the Paul-Valéry area, the young man initially played with his daughter as planned, the victim confided when filing a complaint. But the friendly atmosphere would have taken a whole different turn when he started asking his ex-wife questions about his past love affair. He would even have been threatening towards her when she would have retorted that they were no longer together and that the past was the past. It was then that the situation would have escalated.
The tone would immediately be raised a notch and he would have started threatening her with death in front of his little one. By telling her, in particular, that he was going to throw acid in her face. That he was going to make her disabled. Or that he was going to mow it. Worse, he would have threatened her with death by telling her that he would start with her, then attack his daughter and then end her life.
In a state of amazement
Still according to the victim, completely terrified, she would have complied by telling him about his love story while minimizing certain facts so that he does not react violently. Despite this, he would have started hitting her, several times, because the story did not suit him. According to him, she was lying down the line. He would have even threatened to slash her or put him “shit in her mouth” if she wasn’t telling the truth. After having beaten her, he reportedly told her that he was moving in with her.
The sequestration would have lasted five days, during which he would have humiliated and subjected her to become his thing. Besides the daily violence, insults of all kinds, bullying and humiliation in front of his daughter, he also allegedly sexually abused her. Three to four times a day, according to his desires, revealed the young woman. During her testimony, she admitted that being in a state of bewilderment, she had not tried to push him away because she was too afraid for her life and that of her daughter.
Totally under the influence of this individual, an event will however make her react. Monday, in fact, his executioner would have cut his hair roughly, threatening to do the same with their daughter. A saving degradation, since he had the gift of giving him the strength to take the risk of alerting the emergency services, the next morning, after a night spent in thinking.
The respondent was finally arrested Tuesday, January 4, at 12:45 p.m. and taken into police custody. After being referred to the prosecution, he was remanded in custody at Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone remand center. A psychiatric expertise was ordered.
A bottle of urine thrown in the face
During her hearing, the victim revealed an episode that particularly traumatized her during her confinement. And for good reason, while she was lying on the bed of her room with her daughter, her torturer would have burst in with a bottle in her hand.
After removing the cap in front of her, he allegedly threw it in her face, making her believe that it was acid and that he was carrying out her threats.
It was actually his urine! A totally perverse maneuver that the respondent confirmed during his hearing in police custody. Just like having hit her, threatened with death or even having cut her hair.
Regarding sexual relations, however, he explained that he thought she was consenting because she had not objected to it and that no physical violence had been perpetrated to force her to submit to it.
