Hérault: a rescue exercise for an accident on the A75 triggered near Pézenas

No panic this Monday afternoon if you come across vehicles from firefighters, du Samu, de gendarmes, near Pezenas: an exercise is in progress concerning an accident on the A75.

The Sdis 34, the Hérault Samu, the gendarmes, etc. have been engaged since the beginning of the afternoon on a section of the A75 motorway, near the town of Peats, between Béziers and Clermont-l’Hérault, where a serious pileup between vehicles occurred. There are wounded, possibly dead. Hence the triggering of the plan NEW -ex-Orsec- with the dispatch to the area of ​​significant resources, including helicopters. An advanced medical station -PMA- is installed.

Fortunately, no worries for the population who attends a ballet of emergency vehicles in the area, it is an exercise. It was initially planned at Béziers-Cap d’Agde airport, with the simulation of a plane crash, before being canceled.

This afternoon, requested by Metropolitan, the Hérault prefecture confirms that this exercise, intended to test the responsiveness of the services, is in progress.
