A fire broke out late Wednesday afternoon in a ground floor apartment very close to 62 Martyron Avenue in Heraklion.
Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene, and more specifically, two vehicles with six employees.
Inside the house, which had been engulfed in flames, a 73-year-old woman was found, who was taken unconscious to the hospital by an EKAV ambulance.
