Her mother remembers Aurora: “Sunny and generous, we would have celebrated our 14th birthday in Paris”

Aurora‘s life was extinguished in a second two weeks before her fourteenth birthday. She would have celebrated that important date in Paris. The trip had already been planned within the family. A dream that the tragic morning of October 25th extinguished.
“She was a cheerful little girl, intelligent and full of life, with a good and generous soul,” writes her mother Morena, delivering a written memory to the lawyer Lorenza Dordoni. “Aurora loved little things, she was curious, when she approached some topic she wanted to know it thoroughly. He had many friends precisely because of his sweet and empathetic character. He loved animals, especially his dogs, Zeus but above all Kika the golden retriever he had raised and trained,” he adds.
And then there is the chapter on dreams: “She would have liked to be a psychologist to be able to help anyone in need”.
The mother does not believe in suicide or in an accident. Like Aurora’s 22-year-old sister, who points the finger at her ex, the fifteen-year-old who is now under investigation for voluntary homicide by the Bologna Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office. And who reiterates his own non-involvement in what happened: defended by the lawyer Ettore Maini, he repeated his version of events several times. He said he saw Aurora move towards the railing and fall down. A scene he would witness helplessly. A second later the girl ended up on a fifth-floor balcony. He went downstairs and started ringing the doorbells asking for help.
The Carabinieri have the difficult task of clarifying the dynamics of the tragedy.
A first important piece may come from the autopsy. Today the task will be given to a medical examiner from the University of Pavia. Both the 15-year-old, as a person subjected to the investigation, and Aurora’s family, will appoint their consultant who will participate in the examination.
