Today is the birth anniversary of actress Zizi Badrawi, who was born on June 9, 1944.
We show you some information about the late artist.
I started in the cinema as a child in the movie Asad and 4 daughters, with Anwar Wajdi.
During her childhood, she applied for an oriental dance competition and won first place, and received offers for work as a dancer, but her father refused.
It was presented by director Ezz El-Din Zulfikar in Port Said in 1957.
– But the director, Hassan Al-Imam, who discovered it realistically, gave her the name Zizi Al-Badrawi, with whom she completed her life, instead of Fadwa Jameel, to have two names on the sequences of the artwork.
– After that, she made dozens of films, but the eighties are the least active period in the history of Zizi Al-Badrawi, as only 8 works were submitted.
– She has more than 200 works between drama and cinema.
– With the beginning of the nineties and its appearance in the third part of Al Helmiya nights, she started in the world of drama for many years, interspersed with some cinematic appearances in works such as “Harmonica, the man who lived, on the side of Ousta, the right one.”
– Al-Bayt series, starring Tariq Lutfi and Hanan Mutawa, was presented to her in 2014 after her death.
Abdel Halim Hafez participated in the lead role in the movie “Girls and Summer”.
She got married twice, the first to Adel Sadiq, and to the lawyer Tawfiq Abdel Jalil, then returned again to Adel Sadiq, before they separated again.
– Her sister married Sameh and Hadi Al-Bagouri’s father, and Zizi collaborated with the latter in one true film.
During the condolence of the actress Zizi Al-Badarawi, the artist, Nihal Anbar, said that the late artist was benevolent and better for others, adding that she suffered from lung cancer and shortness of breath.
– She died January 31, 2014, at the age of 70.
