The film Her Body will appear in theaters on November 16, 2023.
Director Natálie Císařovská brought to the screen the unique story of a talented athlete and at the same time successful porn actress Andrea Absolonová. In the picture Her body Zuzana Mauréry, Martin Finger, Zuzana Stivínová or Denisa Barešová will appear in addition to the representative of the title role, Natália Germáni. The creative team has now also presented the official trailer.
Film capture of the unique story took six years
Andrea Absolonová she was born in 1976 in Prague. She was very gifted in sports, she excelled the most in diving. She was involved in this sport together with her younger sister Lucía. But it was Andrea who was talked about as the successor of the famous Milena Duchková - the Olympic champion from 1968. Absolonová became a five-time national champion, brought bronze from the European Junior Championship and finished fifth at the World Championship.
But her path to the Olympic dream was interrupted by a spinal injury. After the treatment, Absolonová started training again, but her form did not return. In addition, she did not want to train in front of other people, so she rented a pool privately, but the finances soon ran out. The desire for success led her to a career as a porn actress. Under the pseudonym Lea de Mae, she shot almost 160 pictures.
The second line, the most important for me, is about a woman’s relationship with her own body. About how the body becomes a public thing. It’s already a top sport, when the whole society decides what kind of condition it is in, how much it weighs, how it looks… And it’s even more intense in porn. The body as a sexual object, an object of pleasure for the whole society.
“Just as she controlled and used her body in sports, she now uses it while shooting porn films. He has fame, money, a comfortable life, independence. But in the end, he has to slow down.” reveals official description of the picture basic story line. Andrea Absolonová’s life ended prematurely. At just 27, she died of a rare form of brain cancer.
“I once came across a short article about Andrea Absolonová in the newspaper and became interested in her story. I found two lines in it – one relates to sisterhood, the relationship between two girls who are top athletes, the more successful one has to end her career due to an injury, she throws herself into the porn business, and the other sister somehow reacts to it. The second line, the most important for me, is about a woman’s relationship with her own body. About how the body becomes a public thing. It’s already a top sport, when the whole society decides what kind of condition it is in, how much it weighs, how it looks… And it’s even more intense in porn. The body as a sexual object, an object of pleasure for the whole society,” she described director and co-screenwriter Natálie Císařovská the journey from the idea to the realization of her film, which lasted more than six years.

You rarely get a role in a film where there is really something to play,” said the representative of Andrea Absolonová, Slovak actress Natália Germáni.
Lucia, the main character’s sister, in the film Her body will be played by Denisa Barešová. The parents will be played by Zuzana Mauréry and Martin Finger, and Zuzana Stivínová will play the role of the diving coach. Cyril Dobrý or Karolína Krézlová will appear as figures from the world of the porn industry.
