Henry Cavill is running for James Bond!

A while ago we already posted an overview with six potential candidates for the role of 007 after Daniel Craig met No Time to Die has said goodbye to the character.

One of the candidates on that list is Henry Cavill and now he seems to have put himself up too by openly applying for the role of James Bond, in conversation with British GQ. All that needs to be done is for producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson to give him a call.

“If Barbara and Mike were interested in that, I would absolutely take this opportunity. Anything could happen right now. We’ll see what happens. But yes, I would love to play Bond, it would be very exciting.”

Henry Cavill als James Bond?
At the time Craig was chosen for the 007 role in Casino Royale Cavill was already in the picture. The producers thought he was still too young at the time. At the moment he is 37 years old, but also many franchises further.

Or Cavill? We probably won’t hear about that until months after No Time to Die has appeared in cinemas. And let that happen first.
