International actor Henry Cavill confirmed that he is not a fan of sex scenes, during an interview on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast with “Argylle” director Matthew Vaughn. The actor said that it is often better for a TV series or movie not to show sex scenes and leave it up to the viewer to fill in the parts. Because the “human imagination” is much stronger.
Cavill said of the sex scenes: “I don’t get them. I’m not a fan of them. There are circumstances where a sex scene is good for the movie, not just for the audience, but I think sometimes it’s overused these days.”

“When you have a sense of where you’re going, is this really necessary or is it just for people who wear less clothing? That’s when you feel most uncomfortable and think, ‘There’s no performance here,'” Cavill continued.
Cavill explained that while there are times when sex scenes “can be great in a movie” and “can really help with storytelling, most of the time, human imagination trumps them, and again, I’m not a fan of doing that.” .
