Henny Huisman Returns to Television with New Travel Adventure Show Featuring Well-Known Friends

Forty years after his debut as a television presenter, Henny Huisman returns to the viewing tube. He travels the world for the program with three well-known friends Better late than never, although he keeps the identities of those friends a secret for now.

Henny is looking forward to his new adventure. “Three times is a charm, because they had asked me before. They just waited until I was old enough, because five years ago I thought I was still way too young, haha. I’m looking forward to traveling in a program that works so well because of the inconvenience.”

He continues: “Four men, all TV makers and of which I am the youngest, in all their awkwardness when they dance with the locals, stand in their underpants when changing or the weak chatter at breakfast. The one eats three plates of oatmeal and the other eats nothing. That sort of thing.”

Henny promises that the four gentlemen will ‘be themselves as much as possible, while immersing themselves in other cultures’. “I have made a special request to the makers,” reveals Henny, who can’t wait to “discover all kinds of new things.” “A different kind of helicopter flight over a very special area. Traveling is in my blood.”

It has also been announced that the men are traveling east. The reality series was shot in South Korea, Cambodia, India and Nepal. The six episodes can be seen on SBS 6 from August.

The first season on RTL 4 was presented by Olcay Gulsen, but after her departure to SBS, the second series was taken over by Katja Schuurman. The presenters went on a special journey with Gerard Cox, Barrie Stevens, Peter Faber and Willibrord Frequin. Willibrord passed away last year.
