Henderson left Etihad disappointed with 1 point

As he always likes to do, Jordan Henderson faced the media after appearing in Liverpool’s tie against Manchester City in the Premier League.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the 31-year-old revealed he wanted more from the game: “It was an intense game that we knew was going to be, we knew it was going to be difficult to come here against a fantastic team.

“We wanted to come here and give everything and try to get the win, unfortunately we didn’t make it, but at the same time we didn’t lose the game.

“Of course we wanted to do better, but in the end it’s not the end of the world, we’re still in the race.”

There’s no denying that a win would have been huge and we’re still the second favorite to win the title this season but like the skipper said we’re still in the hunt.

It’s important to stay on the heels of the leaders and make sure we take advantage of any mistakes they make.

To do that, we have to win our last seven games of the season.
