On Tuesday morning, officers found an underground cannabis nursery in a warehouse on the Roond in Boxtel. This was in the slurry pit under the building. In addition to the hemp plants, the police also seized three cars, which were registered in the name of the 37-year-old suspect.
A secret ladder went through an office space to the slurry pit, where the nursery was located. More than 750 hemp plants and associated equipment, such as lamps, were located here. The police also found five kilograms of dried hemp buds in a package. All this stuff has been confiscated and the hemp buds are being destroyed.
The power and water used in the nursery was illegally tapped. This has now been closed. The suppliers have filed a complaint.
