The Canary Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), an autonomous body linked to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islandsthe promotion of blood donation continues this week in the campaign launched in collaboration with the ULPGC and the UULL.
Through this initiative, several mobile units and temporary extraction spaces are made available to university students to facilitate donations between this group.
In the ULPGC, this week it will be possible to donate to Cardones Mountain Campus, Arucas, et al Campus of the Obelisk, in Tafira.
In the Campus Cardones Mountain it can be donated on 7 and 8 November. On Mondays the time of the donation point will be from 9:30 to 13:30 and from 15:00 to 19:30 and on Tuesdays from 9:00 to 13:00.
A mobile unit will also be available to students of the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy on 7, 8 and 9 November from 9:30 to 13:30 and from 15:00 to 19:30. On Wednesday the extraction room will close at 19:00.
Finally, the campaign of the Faculty of Physical and Sports Activities will resume on 10 and 11 November. Thursday from 9:30 to 13:30 and from 15:00 to 19:30 and Friday from 9:00 to 13:00
As for the UULL, the donation campaign will move on Monday 7 November to the Faculty of Legal Sciences, on the Guajara Campus. The donation point will be active from 9:00 to 13:45 and from 15:00 to 19:45.
Then, on November 8, 9 and 10, a mobile unit will be installed in the Central Library of the Guajara Campus from 8:45 am to 1:45 pm and from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

To donate blood you can go directly or you can request an appointment by calling 012 or 922 470 012/928 301 012 (option 8), from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 or by filling out the form published on the cover of the donacion.com web effect. The ICHH also reminds that people vaccinated against COVID-19, either with one or two doses and with the booster dose, can donate blood 48 hours after inoculation.
