Hema does not refuse customers without a mask | Inland

In line with government policy in the major cities, Hema will advise customers to only enter shops with a face mask. In those branches it is mandatory for Hema staff to wear a mask.

The cabinet announced new, stricter measures on Monday evening to counteract the second corona wave. For shops in large cities such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the advice is to customers in shops to wear masks. It is not an obligation, but the government allows retailers to ban customers who do not want to wear a mask
