Fourth graders from Bempflingen collect for the Lima children’s organization, where the schooling of children is supported
Behind the fourth graders of the Auf Mauern elementary school lies a year that was anything but normal: school, leisure time and even family life are still shaped by Corona. But they know that many boys and girls in other parts of the world are far worse off.

PIMPING. That is why the young people from Bempflingen are actively involved in an unusual campaign for the Lima children’s organization as part of their Protestant religious education: They collect postage stamps. “Sure, I know what postage stamps are,” admits one student cheekily. But in times of e-mail, Facebook, WhatsApp and Co, she has seen, and has to admit, not many. But that has changed a lot for her and her classmates in the past few weeks: the differently decorated collection boxes of the students are filled to the brim with brands, entire family clans have had a passion for collecting and a wide variety of resources are being tapped.
