Helping Others, Cicapar Ciamis Village Government Develops Infaq Program

News Ciamis (harapanrakyat.com), – Village Government (Pemdes) Cicapar, Banjarsari District, Ciamis DistrictCentral West Java encourages infaq conscious society.

It aims to make the BAZNAS Ciamis program a success and help the less fortunate in the village environment.

The Head of Cicapar Village, Imat Ruhimat told HR Online that his party is currently intensively promoting public awareness to donate in the form of Village Alert with the vision of “Ti Urang, Ku Urang, Jang Urang Cicapar” (From Us, By Us, For Us).

“So in this activity we involve cadres in Cicapar Village. For this infaq, we are targeting a minimum of 5000 rupiah per family head every month. Thank God this activity has been running for more than a month, the program is also well received by the community,” he said, Wednesday (16/02/2022).

According to Imat, the alms or infaq money from the residents was collected by the cadres and accommodated by the Village UPZ until it was finally handed over to the Regency BAZ.

“In addition, the management also set aside the infaq money for the needs of the residents of Cicapar Village, and it has been implemented,” he said.

Imat gave an example, if there are residents who are sick and get treated at the Puskesmas or Hospital, the management provides assistance in the form of money from the collected infaq.

“There are also death aids that can be distributed, such as providing shroud assistance plus death money. So from this infaq, there are many benefits for the people of Cicapar Village,” he explained.

1000 KK Become Members of the Cicapar Village Government Infaq Program

Imat said that out of 1500 heads of families in Cicapar Village, 1000 families of them have become members of infaq.

“Alhamdulillah, from month to month we continue to add members, and it is important to note that for this infaq program, we have warned the administrators not to force residents who do not want to join,” he said.

According to Imat, people who give alms must be sincere, because the money is for helping others.

“This program really has to be sincere, because the money is intended to help others, especially the residents of Cicapar Village who are experiencing a disaster,” he said.

Imat hopes that from the infaq program, house renovation assistance (rutilahu) for the poor in his village can be realized.

“So we don’t always have to wait for assistance from the district or central government. Through infaq also if it goes well. God willing, one year we will be able to build one or two houses,” he explained. (Suherman / R7 / HR-Online / Editor-Ndu)
