“Dora was born with a pathology – the little one did not have an anus, as a result of which excrement accumulated in the intestines and poisoned the body. Despite several successful and hopeful operations, the rectum has become so wide, as excrement continues to accumulate, creating such large masses that little Doriņa is unable to defecate without the help of medication or mechanical intervention, constipation develops in the intestines,” explain representatives of “Remi”.
After several X-rays, it has been decided not to do a repeat operation, new medications and a diet have been prescribed for a month, in the hope that the rectum will begin to perform its functions. The prognosis is for at least several more months of treatment.
“Dora and we don’t want to stop and give up yet, we will continue to fight for the baby’s future – active, good and healthy in our family, for this we need the friendly and strong shoulder of each of our followers,” representatives of the center call for donations.
The search for the cat’s family is not stopped – if “Remi” and Dora are met by people with experience in the care of special cats, who are ready for close everyday life with them, then the possibility of continuing Dora’s treatment at home will be evaluated together with the doctors.
