Norden Nowadays it’s not that difficult to become a lifesaver yourself. From donating blood to typing for stem cell donation, there are many different ways to do something good with little effort. For this reason, SKN-Verlag invites you to the big lifesaver day on Friday, October 25th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stellmacherstrasse 14.
On this day, the Leukin Association, among others, will be on site to offer a typing campaign for stem cell donation. Anyone between the ages of 17 and 55 has the opportunity to be tested free of charge. Typing is done quickly and easily using a saliva swab. The Leukin Association also takes care of financing the typings through donations, which currently cost 50 euros each. In addition to Leukin, the
Inform the East Frisian Organ Transplant Association about the importance of organ donations and the advantages of an organ donor card. It is possible to get advice on site and fill out such an ID card and take it with you. Visitors can also donate blood on this day. For this purpose, the Bundeswehr is traveling with a collection group from Koblenz. A generous, free buffet awaits all donors.
