According to a Swiss newspaper, the Neue Zurcher Zeitung (NZZ), the Mossad also bombed companies helping Pakistan’s nuclear weapons efforts, fearing they would aid Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
The Saturday edition of Switzerland’s Neue Zurcher Zeitung (NZZ) report claims, “New previously unknown documents from archives in Bern and Washington reveal that the series of bombings in Germany and Switzerland in the early 1980s that have long been linked to the Mossad actually have a more explicit connection. with the previously known Iran.”
The first victim was Eduard German, managing director of CORA Engineering, whose house in Berne was bombed on February 20, 1981, although he survived the explosion.
