With an amount of €75,000 we will allow a young scientist, under the supervision of Rob Wüst, to expand the lines of research and obtain a PhD based on this research. With his special expertise in microscopy, he will make further in-depth measurements and contribute to publications that are important for building international knowledge.
Research can provide vital insights into the biological causes of the disease. And thus paving the way for the development of effective diagnosis and treatment for patients with PEM complaints.
The Long COVID Foundation has already been able to donate €25,000 to this project from several generous donors.
