We are Gerda and Angela, mother and good friend of Lisanne. We would love to help Lisanne with the purchase of a hairpiece. Lisanne is an active, fun girl of 27 who is always there for someone else. Unfortunately, in December last year her hair started to fall out spontaneously, which has now expanded to such an extent 4 months later that it can no longer be worn without being noticed by the outside world. Alopecia has been diagnosed by the doctors, the cause is still unclear.
Alopecia is an autoimmune disease, which causes the body to shed hair and she loses more and more hair, resulting in baldness. It is also not certain whether the hair loss will stop or whether the hair will come back and there is currently no effective treatment available in the medical field.
This uncertain course means that it affects your self-confidence as well as emotionally.
To help Lisanne, we want to save for a hair work with this crowdfunding. Because it is not clear how long she needs this hairpiece, maybe the hair will not come back at all, a hairpiece made of real hair is the most beautiful. Synthetic hairpieces are available, these are also pricey, but do not outweigh the quality of a human hair hairpiece.
In addition, Lisanne has very beautiful red hair of her own, it would of course be great if we had this reflected in a hairpiece, so that it looks as natural as possible. Unfortunately, this hair color is more difficult to find, which causes the price to rise again.
The separate story is that Lisanne donated her hair herself a few years ago to help someone, not knowing that she now has to ask for help herself to get a beautiful hairpiece.
As mentioned earlier, beautiful well-fitting hairpieces are unfortunately quite pricey and since we really want Lisanne to be able to live confidently with her condition, we would like to ask you to help her. We won’t ask you to donate your hair, but if you want to support her with a contribution, we can give her back her confidence and fun look.
