Helmuts Marko, the head of the Red Bull team’s pilot program and advisor, held a meeting with the management, after which he made it clear that he will continue to fulfill his duties in the upcoming F1 season as well.
In recent months, news appeared that one of the most visible personalities working in the “Red Bull” team could lose his job. Last year, the 80-year-old Marco was also embroiled in a scandal when he spoke negatively about the background and characteristics of Sergio Perez, after which he was forced to apologize both privately and publicly.
At the end of last year, Marko met with the managers of “Red Bull”, and now he has indirectly announced that he will continue to fulfill his duties this year as well.
“In a positive sense – everything is going as planned,” he told OE24, confirming that he will go to all the upcoming F1 rounds in 2024. “If I were to say it’s something crazy that awaits me, it would be difficult. But I tell myself that Australia is amazing and I can’t wait to go to Melbourne. From Friday at From 11:00 until Sunday night I do my job at Red Bull Racing and I love it.”
The season will start in March, when stages in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Australia are planned.
