Manchester –
Sergio Aguero wanna play on Champions League final this weekend. Regarding the wishes of Aguero, the manager Manchester City Pep Guardiola answer it this way.
The Champions League final against Chelsea at the Estadio Do Dragao, Saturday (29/5/2021) evening local time or Sunday morning WIB, it will be Aguero’s final match with City.
Because, after that, Aguero will leave the club he has strengthened since 2011 and most likely join Barcelona on a free transfer.
Aguero has closed his career in the Premier League sweetly when he scored two goals at the close of the 2020/2021 season, Sunday (23/5/2021) evening WIB. City won 5-0 and Aguero made the record as the player with the most goals scored for an English club.
The two goals seemed to prove that Sergio Aguero not finished and can do much to help City win the Champions League for the first time.
Aguero himself has 41 goals and nine assists in 71 matches at the event with City and Atletico Madrid. This further emphasizes how much experience Aguero is in European competition.
However, the final decision is in the hands of Pep Guardiola as manager, who this season has been forced to overhaul the composition of the front lines because Aguero is often absent.
Is indeed Sergio Aguero will be able to start in the final match later with these two goals? Guardiola still has to see it first.
“Yes of course, he is important for us (against Chelsea) because he can play five substitutions. Of course he has a special feeling about this. Something special,” said Guardiola on BBC Sport.
“Of course if he will be ready when we need him to win the Champions League,” continued Pep Guardiola.
