“It was Laletan who taught the dialogue without hesitation. Many scenes have been rewritten in the film Spirit. It has a police station scene. They are the big dialogue scene.
It was the scene where Lalettan was taken to the police station at night. I’m reciting the entire dialogue in that scene. There is a tension that accompanies us as an actor. It’s a big challenge as an actor to deliver such challenging dialogues in front of such a great actor like Lalettan. We will be in trouble.
I didn’t have much experience then. As soon as I had a page and a half of dialogue in hand, I was totally scared. Lalettan is watching me run and learn this.
