Helldivers 2: Real-time Galactic War & Online Collaboration – Exciting Details Revealed!

It turns out that Helldivers 2 shows the Galactic War in real time, allowing you to see from the space station how other players are using Stratagems.

Helldivers 2 was released a few days ago, and although the launch on Steam was a little uneven, the developers quickly began making fixes, and, apparently, gamers liked the game.

One of the most interesting things about Helldivers 2 is the way it depicts the Galactic War, the main conflict between the divers and the bugs with robots being fought. As you complete missions on different planets and try to liberate them, you’ll see percentage bars fill up – these show how much the planet has been liberated by the efforts of you and other players, showcasing a world where everyone is always online and working together.

While at first it may seem like this whole Galactic War is just a smokescreen designed to get you playing and jumping between planets to advance percentage scales, the game actually appears to be rendering it all in real time. Twitter user zrd92490 Noticed a very cool detail that is easy to miss, but makes it clear that there are many other divers out there fighting the same struggle as you.

Before you go on a mission and start shooting bugs, you will find yourself on a space station. If you go to the observation deck and look down at the planet, there is a chance to see other players using powerful Stratagems like calling an airstrike or supplying ammunition directly from space. You can also see laser beams rushing towards the planet, divers landing and even see battles with a closer look.

It’s hard to notice until you play a little, but the blue and red beacons scattered around the planets are Stratagems thrown by players when calling for reinforcements and supplies. It’s a cool detail that many will probably miss, but greatly complements Helldivers 2’s continuous online world.
