The official “how-to” page for crosslinking provided by Pilestedt mentions that signing into PSN is optional when playing a PlayStation game on PC. However, for Helldivers 2, it will soon become a mandatory requirement. Although some players believe this will impact the game’s player population, the situation remains uncertain. Notably, the immense success of Helldivers 2 is largely attributed to its popularity on PC.
