These monstrous adversaries resemble ancient local tombstones and monuments, and modern weaponry cannot pierce them. Protagonists must rely on anachronistic steel—swords, axes, and lances—alongside a faithful drone named KAPI to survive.

Mapping the Unknown by Hand

Unlike standard modern releases, the title intentionally strips away traditional navigational aids. Developer Rogue Factor built the experience without an on-screen map, a compass, or quest markers. Players must listen closely to dialogue, observe architectural landmarks, and piece together clues independently. According to reporting on the game, this design philosophy forces explorers to record details manually on physical paper or devices to keep track of objectives.

Melee Combat and Creative Vision

The combat system centers on tight melee engagements against the supernatural threats while managing KAPI’s interventions on the battlefield, such as drawing enemy attention away from the player. Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, the creative director on the project, designed the overarching narrative around human conflict and emotional cycles of violence.

Pricing Tiers and Deluxe Bundles

When the game eventually launches on Nintendo Switch 2, Nacon will offer two distinct versions. The standard edition retails for 59.99 €, while the Deluxe Edition costs 79.99 €. The higher-tier package bundles the Hollow Walker Pack and the Phol Guard Pack, which include cosmetic skins for Rémi and his drone alongside an extra investigative quest.
