British media, Daily Mail, writes that France’s chances of winning the 2020 European Cup are slowly decreasing. This is because Didier Deschamps’ squad was attacked by a storm of injuries, especially in the left sector of defense after undergoing three exhausting matches against Germany, Hungary and Portugal in Group F of Euro 2020.

When facing Portugal in the final matchday of Group F Euro 2020 On Thursday 24 June 2021 in the morning WIB, Lucas Hernandez was withdrawn at half-time due to a knee problem.
Then Lucas Digne, who came on to replace Lucas Hernandez, also had problems with his hamstring. Ironically, the injury was discovered when Digne was only seven minutes on the pitch!
Even for Digne, the player from Everton is doubtful for France’s remaining matches at Euro 2020. That’s because it usually takes two weeks at the earliest to recover from a hamstring injury.

In addition, there are five French players who are in danger of not appearing in the quarter-finals of the Euro 2020, if they beat Switzerland in the last 16 and are shown a yellow card in that match. They are Hugo Lloris, Hernandez, Presnel Kimpembe, Hugo Lloris and Antoine Griezmann who each have pocketed one yellow card.
