Helicopter rescued a man in El Portús (Cartagena) | Radio Murcia

A helicopter from the General Directorate of Citizen Safety and Emergencies has rescued a 46-year-old man this Saturday who presented a picture of respiratory distress and chest pain when he was in the vicinity of the El Portús naturist campsite, in Cartagena.

Sources from the Emergency Coordination Center have indicated that the 112 phone has received a call at 3:09 p.m. in which a person alerted that his partner had breathing difficulties and chest pain, for which he demanded health care and help to get out of the area.

Cartagena firefighters, a Civil Guard patrol, an ambulance and the helicopter with the air rescue group of the Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium have traveled to the place, which have rescued the man.

Subsequently, the health workers have stabilized the patient and transferred him to the Santa Lucía hospital in Cartagena.
