Favorite in the final in KL3 was the British Laura Sugar who recently won the Olympic final in Tokyo.
Sugar was superior in the Olympic final and won by a margin of two seconds to the Frenchwoman Nelia Barbosa, Ripa finished fifth and had half a second up to the bronze place.
Now Sugar won by 47 percent before compatriot Hope Gordon.
In Copenhagen, Ripa hoped to be able to squeeze a place on the podium.
But the starting field was all too strong and Helene Ripa paddled in goal as ninth and last of all in the final field.
When she won the World Cup final in Montemor, Portugal in 2018, she finished the race in a superb way and secured the victory during the last ten meters.
Now she was never in the top fight.
Helene Ripa, who started on track one, was with her 50 years the oldest of all in the final field, the youngest was 20-year-old German Felicia Laberer.
