31 july 2021 – From next Saturday, the arrangement of the sports program De Oranjezomer has been adjusted. Hélène Hendriks temporarily takes over from Wilfred Genee, who is going on holiday. Genee has already done more than eighty television broadcasts and combines that work with presenting a radio program.
The Orange Summer attracts hundreds of thousands of viewers every day. The program started as a talk show with Wilfred Genee, Rene van der Gijp and Johan Derksen about this summer’s European Championship, but after the tournament the focus shifted to the Tour de France and the Olympic Games. In practice, however, there is still a lot of talk about the latest football news.

Hendriks also works for SBS6 and was a guest on the program several times and was active as a live reporter during the European Championship. Because of Genee’s holiday, he will present De Oranjezomer in the near future. On Saturday, among others, handball player and girlfriend of Rafael van der Vaart Estevana Polman will join.
