Hélène Hendriks Reveals Rick Kruys as Likely New Coach for SC Heerenveen

Maurice Steijn, Van Persie and Kruys would especially be in the picture at Friesland’s only Eredivisie club. It is reported that all candidates have already been interviewed in Heerenveen.

According to reports, former striker Van Persie was keen to start his first job as a head coach and would like to move to the Abe Lenstra Stadium. However, the choice does not seem to have fallen on the current youth coach of Feyenoord.

Kruys is in his second season as head coach in Limburg, having previously served as assistant and interim coach at FC Utrecht. VVV have had a mixed season this season under Kruys’ leadership.
