The Czech Ball, which is one of the most luxurious balls of the social season, is in its 6th successful year. He served lavish robes i packed program in which singer Helena Vondráčková was the star of the eveningwhich performed accompanied by the Charlie Band.
In addition, the seventy-six-year-old singer was one of the decorations of the spectacular art nouveau spaces of the Municipal House in a rather long evening dress, in which she fully met the black tie dress code. She brought out an asymmetrical dress from the workshop of the famous designer Tatiana Kovaříková, which flattered her not only with the cut, but also with the pink color, which gave her a youthful look. The exclusivity of the dress was underlined by interesting details in the form of ruching and a belt with sewn-on silver stones. They corresponded with metallic closed pumps with a sharp point, very decent jewelry and a silver clutch.
We could already see the very elegant dress on the presenter and actress Terez Kostková, who wore it to the 7th competition night of the dance show StarDance. Tatiana regularly dresses the presenter not only on the dance floor. However, the dress was originally without an additional right sleeve, which was additionally enriched in the case of Helena Vondráčková.

A childhood dream come true
We already fell in love with her in The Crazy Sad Princess, where she played Princess Helena alongside the singer Václav Neckár. That’s how Helena’s girlhood dream came true, because she had been playing princess since she was a child. “I took my mother’s robes, beads, wore her high-heeled shoes,” said the smiling singer in an interview exclusively for Lightning for Women. The first film role in the Czech fairy tale came just a few years after the start of Helena’s singing career. However, in such a short period of time, she launched her career in full swing and became the darling of the audience.
Rocket rise
It all started with a victory in the Hledám nové zánkary competition, where her father entered her in 1964. Since she was a child, Helena had artistic inclinations, she danced, played the piano and had a talent for foreign languages. However, when her father brought her an application form from a business trip, she was scared. “I was horrified because I thought how could I, a girl from a small town, sing in Prague’s Lucerna,” said Helena Vondráčková for Blesk pro women.
After winning the competition and subsequently singing the hits Červená řeka and Pátá, thanks to which she became the Golden Nightingale of 1965, an offer came to Semafor and the Rokoko Theatre. She finally decided for him. One of the reasons was her admiration for Waldemar Matuška, but also the fact that she could use both singing and acting in the theater at the same time, as she had previously volunteered in theater.
Rococo was a milestone in her life, here she met the singers Marta Kubišová and Václav Neckár. They became the legendary pop trio Golden Kids. However, the performance did not last too long, because from the beginning of the 1970s the then regime banned Marta Kubišová’s activities. Helena and Václav thus embarked on a solo career.

The talented and hardworking Helena launched her solo career not only in the country but also abroad. She performed on world stages and immediately became the most internationally successful Czech singer. She conquered Germany, Poland, Turkey, but also South America. Her talent for languages, which she originally studied, could finally be put to full use.
A recipe for a happy marriage and the figure of your dreams
Even now, after 59 years of his career, he is not idle at all. He releases records, performs concerts and regularly keeps in shape. “In addition to moving around the house and in the garden, I keep in shape with sports. I exercise every morning, I go to the gym where I have my own trainer, I play tennis, my husband and I like to ski. I like both slopes and cross-country skiing. And of course I take care of myself, go for massages, use quality cosmetics, try to follow a healthy lifestyle and usually don’t eat after five o’clock,” she said in an interview for Blesk pro women at the time.
Sport is thus one of the mutually shared hobbies that connects Helena with her husband Martin Michal, with whom she has been for a respectable 21 years. From the beginning of their relationship, they got along perfectly, and as the singer let herself be heard, common interests, as well as mutual respect and tolerance, play an important role in their happy relationship.
An elegant lady in every inch
Helena not only has an enviable figure, but also refined, elegant taste. This is a reflection not only of the collaboration with many fashion designers, especially the aforementioned Tatiana Kovaříková, with whom she has been closely connected in recent years, but also of her Cancer sign, in which she was born.
Since Cancers are very emotional, they create a sense of security and family is the alpha and omega for them, so they tend to be great romantics. This is also the hallmark of the charming blonde, whose style evokes delicacy, elegance and 100% neatness. Her wardrobe is represented by a wide palette of colors, from fuchsia to lime, red, white to black.
