Helena Ahti-Hallberg’s autumn is busy. The calendar of a multi-talent in the dance field should be full starting in September, for example Dancing with the stars -program’s 17th season and the one starting in February Dancing with the stars -tour, for which Ahti-Hallberg is responsible for the dance and costume design.

Ahti-Hallberg doesn’t have time off now, except for the fall vacation and the month-long Christmas vacation.

– I know that a person shouldn’t work seven days a week, but these autumns always accidentally become a bit like that, Ahti-Hallberg states.

Ahti-Hallberg says that she does work that she loves. The multi-tasker in the creative field describes his work as versatile.

– I don’t feel tired from working. On the contrary, I get an awful lot of energy from this, Ahti-Hallberg describes.

You still have to wait for Spain to get home

Ahti-Hallberg and his spouse Eric Hallbergin The Spanish home purchase project was followed in the summer in the media. It was postponed less than a month ago and the couple’s long-term dream came true.

At the beginning of August, Ahti-Hallberg told Iltalehte that even though the offer for the home has been accepted, the bureaucracy related to buying the home will take time. Now the dance teacher tells at the launch event of the software of Elevent Group Oy, which she owns, at which stage things related to the purchase of the house are.

– The situation at the moment is that the pre-sale agreement has not yet been drawn up, because the information in the land register and the land register do not match. Our lawyer will make this information consistent and after that we will be able to pay down payments and the deal will be able to proceed, says Ahti-Hallberg.

Ahti-Hallberg says that he was prepared for the wait, even though the price has already been agreed with the seller.

– It is so much slower than in Finland. If we decide to buy a house in Finland, we walk to the store with the broker and sign the papers. The culture there is very different, says Ahti-Hallberg.

However, Ahti-Hallberg emphasizes that it is important that the lawyer takes care of security and that everything goes well. He says that’s not why he’s impatient, but he still wishes things would go a little faster.

– I had dreamed that I would be able to visit there already during autumn vacation. But the schedule has stretched so much that I hope we will have a new home of our own there by Christmas, Ahti-Hallberg says.

Emil’s son got married

The new home is not the only positive news in the Ahti-Hallberg family circle. His son Emil Hallberg married his wife Sofie in the summer.

Ahti-Hallberg describes the moment as atmospheric.

– I had been in emotional turmoil for a couple of weeks before the wedding. It didn’t take much to talk about the wedding when you had a tear in your eye. But as soon as the wedding ceremony was over, there was such peace. The emotional turmoil ended there and I was happy that everything has moved forward nicely, says Ahti-Hallberg.

The ceremony itself took place in Sipoo church, but the wedding was otherwise celebrated in the yard of Ahti-Hallberg and her spouse.

– It was quite difficult to make the arrangements. My husband and I did most of it. We tried to make it easier for young people, says Ahti-Hallberg.

Although Ahti-Hallberg and her spouse were largely responsible for the arrangements for the wedding, they received a lot of help from their circle of friends to make the event possible.

– It was more than a great proof that friendship is strong and that we are helpful in every situation in life, says Ahti-Hallberg.

In June, Ahti-Hallberg also shared pictures from the midsummer wedding on her Instagram. Already at that time, the dance professional thanked for the help received for the wedding celebration.

– Never before, I have never heard the sentence so many times in a month: Can I help? You made it possible for the party to take place. Thank you, Ahti-Hallberg wrote.
