Award-winning actress Helen McCrory, known from “Peaky Blinders” and “Harry Potter”, has died. She was only 52 years old.
McCrory eventually had to give up for the cancer. It reports Sky News.
According to the website, it is her husband, Damian Lewis, with whom she has been married since 2007, who confirms the sad news on Friday.
“It is with a broken heart that I tell you that after a heroic battle against cancer, the beautiful and powerful Helen McCrory has quietly and peacefully fallen asleep in her own home, surrounded by love from friends and family,” Lewis writes in a posts on Twitter.
He continues:
“She died just as she lived. Without fear. My God, we love her, and we know how lucky we have been to have her in our lives. She was a flame in everyday life ».
The late actor was born in Paddington, London, and was the eldest of three children.
In addition to the man, McCrory leaves behind two children. The daughter Manon was born in 2006, while the son Gulliver came in 2007.
In addition to “Harry Potter” and “Peaky Blinders”, Helen McCrory has starred in the “James Bond” film “Skyfall”.
In “Peaky Blinders”, she had the role of Polly Gray, while she played Narcissa Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” movies. She has kept the cancer hidden from the public.
