Heitersheim: Expropriation proceedings for the construction of the northern bypass Heitersheim: Freiburg regional council starts online consultation for property owners – until September 2nd, opportunity to express themselves in writing or electronically

In the process of expropriating partial areas of land for the construction of the Heitersheim northern bypass (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district), the Freiburg Regional Council (RP) is starting an online consultation in accordance with the Planning Assurance Act. As the responsible expropriation authority announced, this offer replaces an oral hearing that cannot currently take place due to the corona pandemic.

The owners of the land affected by the expropriation proceedings as well as the secondary beneficiaries known to the expropriation authority were informed individually via the online consultation. You have up to and including September 2nd to comment in writing or electronically on the information made available to you.

With the planned northern bypass, the city of Heitersheim primarily wants to relieve the inner-city east-west connecting roads from through traffic, in particular from heavy goods traffic. The city has created the planning requirements for this through a development plan. Since not all property owners agree with the project and, despite intensive efforts by the city, a voluntary sale of the property was not possible, the city of Heiterheim submitted an application to the RP for expropriation proceedings.
