As a result of the 0:1 against Wiesbaden On Wednesday and the fourth league game without a win in a row, Dresden coach Thomas Stamm switched his team to two positions. Lemmer played for the red captain Kutschke, Casar replaced Bünning.
After three games in a row without losing, Hannover had a clear one during the week 1: 4 losing against Arminia Bielefeld accept it. 96 coach Daniel Stendel then made four changes to the starting lineup. Stahl returned to goal for Weinkauf, Frauendorf, Meier and Uhlmann started instead of Engelbreth, Stepantsev and Marino.
As expected, Dresden started with a lot of possession, while Hannover waited for mistakes and then called for a change. Already in the third minute, the visitors’ methods led to the first dangerous shot by Chakroun, which Sterner was still able to block.
Wallner scores from a corner – Matsuda clears with his header
Dresden became more confident and had their first chances, the best of which belonged to Casar, who saved the leader Stahl (10th). However, losing a simple ball was still part of Dresden’s game. After a quarter of an hour, Hannover won the ball on the halfway line and took a corner. Arkenberg extended the cross from the right at the first post and Wallner pushed the ball five meters over the line (17th).
The lead could have been even higher as Chakroun Boeder stole the ball and ran towards the goal alone, but then he acted too recklessly and lost the ball to Kammerknecht (41′) . In addition, Matsuda almost missed the goal with a direct free kick from 20 meters (40th). A moment later, the Japanese saved against Casar, who ran well again and had Dresden’s next big chance.
Dresden’s performance increased in the second round
Dynamo came out of the locker room with a different face and immediately had scoring opportunities. Daferner’s shot was deflected by Stahl with the help of the post (50′), and a little later the attacker and Casar slipped past a sharp cross (56′).
Hannover had to find its way again against Dresden, who were now stronger in duels, but again had moments of transition and were able to stop Dynamo. In the meantime it looked as if Dresden was completely losing its intensity again. Thomas Stamm accepted this with substitutes, and the introduction of Meißner particularly paid off. The countless flankers now had one more target in the middle of the attack.
First Heise on Meißner, then on Batista Meier
First the substitute attacker was denied by Stahl (75′), but just a few moments later it was Heise who found Meißner’s head with his cross from the half field – 1-1 (78′).
Now Dresden was pushing for victory, but Hanover also had a voice. But like Stahl before him, Schreiber was able to excel with a leg save against Videira (89th). Time was running out, but the SGD still had an arrow in it. Heise crossed again from midfield. This time he found the head of Batista Meier at the first post, and his goal brought health to Dresden (90 + 2).
Soon after it was over and after the half-time whistle, a huge reception started in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium. Dynamo had ended its winless streak. Hannover, on the other hand, have now lost for the second time in a row after a good run with seven points from three games.
Dynamo has a DFB Cup game coming up this week, SV Darmstadt 98 in Saxony on Wednesday (8:45 p.m.). Hannover II will not be challenged again at the weekend when they travel to Aachen on Saturday (kick-off 4:30pm).
