Construction company Heijmans is going to build approximately five hundred homes in Den Bosch. The group is also developing commercial care buildings for the Willemspoort South project in the municipality of Brabant. Construction is scheduled to start at the end of next year and the contract is worth 175 million euros.
“After the previous realization of Willemspoort North, it is now Willemspoort South’s turn, where a good mix of homes for young and old and from social rent to expensive purchase is being realized,” Heijmans reports.
The agreement with the municipality of Den Bosch and housing association BrabantWonen has been concluded to tackle the acute housing shortage.
The area is located near the Jeroen Bosch Hospital, south of the Randweg and Willemspoort Noord. The application for a permit will take place in September and the intended completion of Willemspoort South is at the end of 2025.
